We are following up on our recent communication related to proposed amendments to the Hazardous and Special Products (HSP) Regulation (O. Reg 449/21) under the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act, 2016 (RRCEA) by the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP). The proposed amendments were posted to the Environmental Registry of Ontario, including a plain language version.

As part of the consultation process, Automotive Materials Stewardship (AMS) has provided a written submission to the government, which you can view here.

To provide additional feedback on the proposed changes, please visit the MECP website and submit by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
